This is an institution with an amazing music program. Some of the most skilled musicians and artists from Jamaica including members of the Skatalites have learned their craft at which is run by the Sisters of Mercy. Here is their mission statement:

MISSION
Our mission is the empowerment and personal transformation of young people through education and skills training. Most of our students reside in inner-city communities where social conditions are very challenging. The training program at Alpha is designed to generate holistic development and career advancement in a variety of relevant employment areas.

Vibes World Radio supports the Alpha Boys School and we hope you will too especially if you enjoy Jamaican music.
