Fulton County has released case files that had been closed as of Dec. 15-16, 2025. Those cases are as follows:
Michael S. Smith, 44, charged with battery in the second degree, possession of controlled substance, public intoxication, terroristic threatening in the second degree. Negotiated plea of guilty for two counts of felony aggravated assault, a Class D felony and sentenced to five years probation. Did receive a jail time credit of 119 days.
In the case of Tonya Stallings, the prosecution declined to prosecute further due to the defendant being deceased.
Jared Michael Hurst, 22, charged with aggravated assault and terroristic threatening. Negotiated plea of guilty and sentenced to two months in the county jail for the aggravated assault and 48 months suspended imposition of sentence for the terroristic threatening. Did receive a jail time credit of 63 days.
Matthew Christopher Arnold, 39, charged with fleeing, possession of firearm by certain persons. Negotiated plea of guilty for fleeing and received a five-month sentence in the county jail with a 161-day jail time credit.
Carrie Michelle Grissom, 52, charged with filing a false report with law enforcement and received a sentence of three years of a suspended imposition of sentence to the charge with a 31-day jail time credit.
Charles Eugene Blosl, 57, charged with two counts of delivering m**h, co***ne, and maintaining a drug premises. Negotiated plea of guilty to all three charges and received a sentence of 72 months probation and 180 days in county jail to run concurrently. He did get a jail time credit of 144 days.
Clarence Blain Mason, 46, charged with theft of property between $5,000 and $25,000. Negotiated plea of guilty and sentenced to 36 months probation with a jail time credit of 153 days and $7,000 due in restitution.
