Huge thank you to for having me as a guest author on Indie Bookstore Day! It was so much fun to autograph books and meet new readers! I especially love seeing what books readers are taking home 📚 this an adorable Bookstore and has quickly claimed a special place in my heart.

I even met my youngest reader 💕 I love writing so much, and meeting you readers makes the head-banging days all worth it!

It all started with a pair of combat boots... these might look like just a pair of shoes, but few people know that the Hayden Black series started with these shoes, a pair that my brother bought me for my 22nd birthday. And The Lost Witch released in 2022... I built Hayden's character before I ever wrote her series, and I knew these were the boots she would wear. 7 years later, these boots are falling apart at the seams, just like hers do in the series. The boots might be gone, but Hayden never will be. So yeah, these were more than just a pair of boots... which is why my next series is starting with a pair of cowgirl boots...
