Salem Techsperts The Greatest Technician That’s Ever Lived

11/01/2025

Tech used to be built to last. In 2011, upgradable storage, RAM, and even CPU’s were the standard for laptops. It wasn’t until Apple began glueing their batteries to the chassis in 2013 when manufacturers realized they could get away with taking features away. The Dell Vostro was one of those casualties.

Refurbishing hundreds of laptops and micro PC’s isn’t an easy task. Even finding a supplier that has that kind of quantity is proving to be difficult. Throw in the added responsibility of having to make content on a regular basis, and it becomes nearly impossible. But that’s not a word I understand, so here I am. Being able to get these used devices in the hands of people that need them is my number 1 goal. I can’t stand people that take these devices to “flip” instead of keeping the price affordable. But I encourage you to try refurbishing them yourself to SAVE MONEY!

While building my cloning PC, I forgot to order a heatsink for the AMD Threadripper I installed. But I needed to test the CPU, motherboard, and RAM immediately, so I used the only thing I had in the shop, a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE. Something I use in my PC at home. It performed insanely well given the circumstances, and it makes me wonder if I could’ve kept using it if the contact shield were bigger.

The Google Jamboard was a perfect example of how corporations control the tech YOU paid for! Consumer Rights Wiki is a crowdsourced platform that is built to NAME AND SHAME Anti-Ownership, Anti-Consumer, Anti-Repair companies by having YOU record these instances when they occur. Funded by Louis Rossmanns non-profit, https://fulu.org - FULU Foundation, ConsumerRights.Wiki aims to be the go-to place for consumers to check BEFORE they give their money to a company. So let's stop complaining, and start RECORDING.

Building a $26,000 PC for $1,600 to Save Old Tech! With the end of Windows 10 here, the biggest e-waste event in human history is about to occur. It’s up to us to repurpose these older computers with Linux and save them from the trash!

I saved this $5000 Google Jamboard from the e-waste bin by turning it into a 55” 4K Android Gaming Tablet on wheels. After only 7 years, Google shut down the servers that this cloud-based digital whiteboard needed to operate. They recommended the users to repurpose it as a TV. Except the display alone weighs 100lbs. Thanks to the legends at XDA forums, I was able to install LineageOS and give this device a second chance at life. Which includes playing Half Life 2. But what should I do with it now?

RAZER stands for Restricted Access Zero Easy Repairs. Ater dealing with these incompetent clowns for over 3 weeks, they finally gave me an estimate for a replacement battery for my customers $4000 2021 Razer Blade Studio laptop. $159. And they insist I have a professional install it. RAZER wants to be Apple so bad, they copy all of their bad practices instead of their good...See you at CES!

Been a wild few months but we’re finally out of the Subway and into the new spot. Still setting up the final touches but we have 2 bathrooms, a giant storage room, a streaming room, and 2 offices. Full tour is on YouTube. First customer is your wife’s boyfriend. I’m just excited to be able to take a dump in peace and not go home smelling like bread. Let’s start this new chapter with a bang 😎

AMeCh SGT-4 Thermal Paste: The New King of Performance Per Dollar?

Buy AMeCh SGT-4 Here: https://amzn.to/3Cjd2Vr

My Questions:
1. Where are you located, do you manufacturer this paste yourself or are you just putting your label on an OEM paste? What is your website and contact info?
2. Do you use acetoxy silicone? Some cheap thermal pastes will use this to achieve temporary results at the cost of long-term durability.
