Voice & Piano Lessons with Sophie HI! My name is Sophie Mueras-Saavedra and I received my Bachelors of Music Education as a voice major at ISU. I offer voice, piano, and general music lessons.

I teach techniques to promote healthy singing and playing. Summer Workshop coming up! May 10-August 14, recital performance: August 14, 2021

I am McKayla Romo; I study music education at BYU where I sing and play the cello.
I love music and I love teaching!
It is my personal goal to give students diverse experiences and opportunities with music so that they can express themselves in a healthy, productive manner, develop musical skills that they can take with them, and to develop life skills and attributes through musical processes.

Welcome to the choir classroom! It’s messy, chaotic, and loud, but at the same time there is so much real emotion that I get to see that other teachers and people don’t get to see from teenagers! Mine is the classroom where students let go of all the outside expectations. Mine is the classroom where spontaneous karaoke parties erupt and where music evoked tears flow. Mine is the classroom where students yell in frustration when facing difficult material and excitement when a challenge is overcome. My classroom experiences every emotion under the sun every single day and I wouldn’t change it for the world! Music does more for the world than we give credit.

I am tremendously proud of all my students and the individual progress they each made this summer! Many of these amazing people had their first recital experience and all of them played or sang with confidence and true musicianship! I hope they all continue to work to build upon the foundation they started 🎶 And to my students who were unable to make it to the recital, I am so proud of their work and progress too ❤️.
