A nature mandala is a meditation woven from leaves, petals, and stones. They can be a spell, a prayer, a connection, a way to say thank you, and so much more
As we celebrate the season of the sun, creating a mandala from nature’s treasures becomes a way of honoring abundance, warmth, growth, and the radiant energy of life. Each circle reminds us that the seasons move in sacred cycles. The sun rises, blazes, and eventually softens again. Each pattern that pleases the eye is a window to sacred geometry and a reminder that order and chaos coexist in the circle. We gather what the earth offers in this moment and arrange it with intention, gratitude, and wonder.
Sit in the grass. Gather fallen blooms, stones that call to you, sticks, acorns, interesting greenery, whatever catches your eye or your attention. Let your hands become part artist, part dreamer, part sun priestess. Build something temporary and beautiful simply to connect to this place and this moment (Laylla says it’s like baking an elaborate cake that then gets eaten. The destruction of it is a vital part of the art)
