After being out a whole year, Young G is ready to bounce back, get back in the game!
In 2011, Young G released Terrorism I, an album of 12 tracks, each one hotter than the one before it. Terrorism I included hot tracks such as; "Terrorism", "Green & Purple", "Purple Haze", and "Sippin' (On Some Sizzurp)". Of course, those were the days before Lil' D ever came to be.
Now, at the end of 2011, Young G announced a sequel to Terrorism I, called Terrorism II. And in 2012, he released the album Get It Like G instead, and then promised T2 a second time. And a 3rd time in 2013, which was a year when Young G ended up just recording verses on Lil' D tracks and did 5 tracks for an album titled G's World. And so far, Young G hasn't recorded a single fu***ng word this year, and it's already pretty much September. And Lil' D hasn't done much of s**t either since G's been out. We figure maybe G decided to say f**k it and take an 11 month vacation, seeing as the last thing he recorded was a little over 11 months ago, on his song "All That" featuring Lil' D.
It's hopefully safe to say that G's vacation may be over, seeing as he just sent us this photo of an album cover for the long-awaited TERRORISM II. Of course, G doesn't do drugs anymore, so we doubt we'll be seeing much of the trippy, spacey sounding drug grooves like Purple Haze or Sippin', but one can only hope he'll drop tracks like Terrorism and Ready for Whatever, which both were dope as f**k!
As a matter of fact, G was 15 when he began recording the first half of T1, and 16 when he finished it. He was also 16 when he began Get It Like G, and 17 when he finished that, then he was barely 18 when he dropped All That. Now, G is 19, barely 19. At HM we hope and pray G doesn't record just 1 track for the year. He has a son now, so hopefully when his kid hits the teen years, we might see some father/son duo tracks, like Birdman and Weezy quite often did.
