65 Years of Serving South Central Indiana

WSLM is celebrating its 66th Year. Don Martin first aired WSLM 1220 AM in 1953. The station was planned to start operating on Christmas 1952, but after much of the broadcast equipment was stolen, the station didn’t get on the air until Feb. 14, 1953 - Valentine’s Day.

65 years later - Don Martin’s daughter, Becky White, is hard at work to make the stations bigger and better than ever and continue the tradition of community broadcasting.
