LIFE AFTER brings together the missing voices of the disability community in the ongoing debate about assisted dying, uncovering chilling stories of disabled people dying prematurely. Davenport exposes the intersection of systemic failures and personal autonomy, challenging the idea that assisted dying always represents a free choice, when it can sometimes be seen as the only option.

EP’d by Multitude Films, THE TALLEST DWARF is a personal story guided by Director Julie Wyman’s perspective, the film asks how we see difference, and how filmmaking can transform the gaze to forge a vision of disabled beauty and power.

In making the film, Julie confronts her own family history, joins forces with a group of dwarf artists to confront the legacy of being fetishized and put on display, and delves into revealing archives of circuses and the growth of the pharma industry. The camera becomes an extension of Julie’s quest, capturing moments of vulnerability, joy, frustration and deep understanding 💜

The film, directed by Assia Boundaoui, weaves the personal and the political as it follows the filmmaker’s examination of why her Arab-American neighborhood fell under blanket government surveillance

Its impact campaign brought to light the underrepresented story of the impact of surveillance on targeted American-Muslim communities and introduced introduced avenues for narrative and legal agency for individuals impacted
