I have not been threatened, but I am already getting frightened calls and messages from scared people. There is not a lot I can do for you. I am not a lawyer. Below is what I tell everyone, whether I believe them or not.
Also, just a gentle reminder to our public officials, if you are upset by how this election went or you are overwhelmed by this new found power and indulge in some inappropriate bullying behavior, just know that you can be sued, prosecuted and jailed too (just like Jamey Noel).
RECORD AND REPORT - My best advise for right now is to RECORD AND REPORT. Record any actions and phone calls. Your phone is your best friend. Learn how to both voice record and video tape quickly and send those files automatically online - out of reach. Then report to any legal entity that you feel safe reporting to - State Police is my suggestion and not to a local post.
KEEP GOOD RECORDS OF WHAT AND WHEN YOU REPORTED - Now it has been our experience that you will get absolutely no help from them directly, but that you reported is what you are looking for. Keep really good copies of what you reported and when.
IF YOU HAVE EVEIDENCE OF ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR, REPORT IT - Once again, it has been our experience that you will not get direct help. The only cover you have is that it is already out there in the proper channels where it can be investigated. Puffing up and telling them that you have a secret that will destroy them makes you a target. Period.
NEWSPAPERS, RADIO STATIONS AND TELEVISION NEWS IS NOT YOUR FIRST MOVE - With all of the proof that you will have collected - the recordings, aggressive behavior and no help from government officials - then you go to the new and heritage media. You still may not get a response from them, but at least you have it there and should be a part of a bigger situation that is going on around you. Because the two stories that are going on are that the aggressive behavior is happening in the first place and the second is that there is no relief from public officials.
WASHINGTON COUNTY IS THE EXAMPLE - I understand that Washington County is very corrupt and that this aggressive, illegal behavior is going on behind the scenes. I have been studying local government and how it works for over 20 years and I am going to show how it works and why we are in trouble. At this point, I can do very little for you personally in these matters. This last election cycle, Max and I were concentrating on not ending up face down in a corn field or having our family abused anymore.
