The North American editor currently also serves as chief North American correspondent. As with other correspondents, the news service will assist these journalists in marketing their coverage and reports. Each province or state may have a correspondent, although in some instances, one person may cover more than one assignment. Some states, provinces, ore areas may also have their own contributing editors, stepping in from time to time to help organize coverage and augment news for their areas. Our community maintains itself as a collaborative effort to inform the public dialogue so essential for vibrant democracies. The community cooperates among its participants to assist our journalists to find markets for their work. Canadian Desk
The national editor for Canada works in collaboration with two contributing editors, one for Western Canada and another for Eastern Canada. Chief correspondents will also be invited to join our efforts, one national and one each for Western and Eastern Canada, and such local editors and correspondents as deemed necessary. Note: Mexico has two regional editors, one for the states north of the state of Mexico, and a Southern Mexico editor for the state of Mexico and states to the south. President Donald Trump's megabill includes a provision that gives the Department of Homeland Security authority to charge fees on foreign visitors.
