that I must share. It is so good and inspiring to see what DA&JDG are doing right now, touring to well attended shows, working hard inspired Artists getting a chance to show their wares. Safe travels my friends.
I have been an avid fan of Jimmie Dale Gilmore since 1991 when masterpiece "After A While" was released.

Sweet story, from a songwriter from Lubbock

In 2017, I had signed with an “agent” out of Nashville, and I was trying to make some money to help fund my projects and endeavors. I decided to auction off one of my favorite guitars and asked my friend and guitar player, Steve Lott, to create a painting for it. Fast forward 8 years later, and tonight it was returned to me. I cried like a baby. Rest assured, Francis “Baby” Houseman will be hanging proudly on my wall from here on out. Thank you Melly, you will never fully know how much this means to me. 😭

Pueblo West Co. USA. the club was called Copper River
Nice place, and stage with a good sound system...
I went to see Jenni Dale Lord from Lubbock TX.
I will start to feature her songs, on Bacon Lubbock Tomato Sandwich w/ Rick White on KHEN LP 106.9 FM Salida, Colorado
Jenni Dale was performing with James Cook also a fine musician
and songwriter. I am wanting to have these musicians in Salida, for perfomance interview on my show and hopefully a performance at A Church, a listening room in Salida we are very proud of...

The personal grief I feel for the communities of Kerrville and that area are devastating as the floods themselves. As this catastrophic loss takes it toll on these people affected by
death and destruction, the scars will be there for many years to come, perhaps forever... Godspeed to some sort of peace in your hearts...

Kerrville Texas, I am sick with grief from the catastrofic losses being endured there, sickened...
Prayers for the survivors and the challenges ahead.

What a night...
Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore a matchup in this genre that I don't think anyone saw coming, they played the Orient Theatre Denver, clearly glad to be joined by the Guilty Ones, Lisa Pankratz shown on drums Brad Fordham bass.
Thank you to them for touring the Rockies, see you next time!
