I've always had a passion for paper, scissors, and glue! Until I was 7, we lived in Sheridan Lake, Colorado. I'm not sure if it can be labeled as a town, village, or ghost town. Anyway...that's beside the point. My family lived across from the street from the post office. I spent many hours there hanging out with the postmaster and he would let me take home a stack of junk mail every now and then.

I would then cut, paste, and tape the junk mail into glorious creations. Ten times out of ten, if someone couldn't find the scissors, tape, or glue, it could usually be found under piles of cut up mail in my room. I think my parents still blame me if they can't find the tape, scissors, or glue...and I don't live there anymore! Fast forward almost 40 years and I still love to create beautiful messes with paper, tape, and glue. And paint, and embellishments, and glitter! I now have more time to be creative and hope to someday be a full time maker. Until then, it will continue to be a side hustle to my full-time job.

I just purchased a flashlight stand for my UV resin flashlight and it's a game changer. Now I don't have to hold my light and my hands are free to work on other resin pieces while my current piece is curing.

This stand has a magnetic base. I will say that the stand become very top heavy with the flashlight installed and it will tip over if not secured to something via the strong magnetic base. Keep that in mind before purchasing a stand for your UV flashlight.

Happy Monday, friends! Hope you all had a great weekend. We had my family's "Dilley Christmas" this past weekend and it was fun to hang out with the family. Just wished we could get together more often.

Speaking of getting together, did you know that I created a private group a few years ago called "Robin's Egg Blue Creations Craft My Stash" group? My intent with this group was to use it as a crafty outlet and crafty meet-up group so that we could collectivetly craft together and use up our stash of crafty goodness.

I'm reviving this private group for 2026 and hope to have at least monthly meet-ups so that we can get some stuff out of our stash and used up. Or traded. Or trashed. And you can meet new crafty people from all over the country in the process.
