Another end to a busy week! If you missed Inside Sources this week, what’d you miss??

Greg and Holly talk about a few of their favorite stories, including a discussion on Alpine School District’s final first day of school, back-to-school jitters, the record $40 trillion in national debt, and growing anti-incumbent feelings.

They also chat about an important conversation we had on postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis… both in reference to Lindsay Clancy’s court case, as well as Hayden Panettiere’s death and old drama with Neutrogena.

And of course, Hawaiian Shirt Day and National Potato Day! We have to make sure some fun gets in there!

Greg and Holly finish today’s show with one central message: violence is never the answer.

Ben Abbott, an Ecology Professor at BYU and Executive Director of the nonprofit Grow the Flow, said he believes everything the state is doing is great and a good step in the right direction, but we still haven't cut nearly enough of our water use to save the Great Salt Lake.

“The Great Salt Lake is actually the crisis that we need in this moment of division,” Abbott said. “This is bigger than left and right…this is about survival and it’s about who we are as a people.”
