Got a little further on the NYCKs. A jib was created today so we could align the dowel holes like furniture. Checkout the video as we got a little bit further on this prototype design.

In this latest design, we’ve chosen to use wooden dowel joints for assembly, creating a DIY-friendly version of the classic mix-cube speaker. The enclosure is built from precision-cut MDF, ensuring both durability and consistent acoustic performance.
The dowel system eliminates the need for complex tools, making the build process straightforward and accessible. This approach also makes the speakers highly portable — perfect for setups in hotels, studios, or on the road, where quick assembly and reliability are key.
The result is a compact, travel-ready monitoring solution that combines professional performance with ease of use.
