🎄 CHRISTMAS IS SAVED! 🎄

On Christmas Eve, the Magoffin County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a green male subject, accompanied by a dog, walking and driving through town. Deputies responded to the downtown Salyersville area and quickly located the Grinch and his dog, Max, inside a vehicle.

Upon contact with deputies, the Grinch fled on foot, dropping all of the stolen gifts along the way. After a brief pursuit, the Grinch was successfully captured by the Sheriff and deputies. All gifts were recovered and Christmas was saved.

The Magoffin County Sheriff’s Office is happy to report that the children of Magoffin County can rest easy — the Grinch is in custody, Max is safe, and Christmas will go on as planned.

I bet they’re the best hugs, Kyloh!

...Areas of Freezing Fog Around Tonight...

New snow pack with some warming taking place off the surface has caused the formation on low clouds and fog. With temperatures below freezing for much of the area the thickest fog will contain frozen droplets and could lead to slick spots on area roads, especially on ridges. Slow down if traveling tonight and be prepared for the possibility of slick patches.
