Due to impending inclement weather, all campuses will dismiss students early today. An administrator will remain on-site until all students are picked up. All in-district activities have been canceled. Buses will be running.

Elementary School Dismissal: 2:00 p.m.
Middle School Dismissal: 2:30 p.m.
High School Dismissal: 3:00 p.m.

Forecasts indicate storms could begin developing after 3:00 p.m., with the possibility of strong winds and large hail moving into the San Angelo area.

We are sharing this information as early as possible, so families have time to make alternate pickup arrangements. This decision allows our transportation team ample time to ensure all students arrive home safely. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We value your partnership and hope that everyone stays safe.

City of San Angelo offices will delay opening until 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, due to icy conditions on roadways, overpasses and bridges.

City directors and essential employees should report to work by 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Essential services, including public safety and emergency response, will continue to operate without interruption.

Residents who must travel are urged to drive slowly, allow extra stopping distance, and use caution on bridges and overpasses, which tend to freeze first.

City employees with questions about reporting to work Tuesday should contact their direct supervisor.

Visit sanangelo.gov/weather for more weather-related information.
