* Here is an important update Sunday night at 10 PM. From the latest indications we are seeing in the meteorological models, our area is not done with flooding risks yet. We are seeing indications that additional showers and thunderstorms could redevelop across southeastern parts of the area by or before sunrise Monday, and then spread westward through the morning hours. The airmass remains unusually moist over our area so the storms will produce pockets of very heavy rainfall in short periods of time. Where these occur, an additional 1-3 inches is likely, with some totals in excess of 5 inches. This will quickly lead to flooding. Be sure to have ways to receive warnings and a plan of action if warnings are issued.
