❗️ Update on debris collection ❗️

The first pass for storm debris collection in Zone 1, south of the Loop, is complete.

Crews are working through Zone 2 (PaulAnn and 23rd/Garden Road). Progress is slower due to scattered damage, but efforts are focused on the hardest-hit areas. Zone 3 (Green Acres) is expected to begin Monday, Aug. 4.

Appliances and brush will be picked up in separate passes per FEMA guidelines. Appliances such as refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners must have coolants professionally removed and tagged to show they have been cleared.

Mosquito spraying continues, and City crews are resuming mowing and other core services. Cleanup efforts are ahead of schedule and may finish weeks earlier than expected.
