In response to the current federal government shutdown, the City of San Angelo is waiving late fees on utility bills and suspending service shutoffs for federal employees and retirees. This will only be in effect during the shutdown.

To receive the waiver, eligible individuals must visit the City Hall Annex at 301 W. Beauregard Ave. and present a valid government-issued ID.

Rep. August Pfluger was in San Angelo this afternoon discussing resources for federal employees and military affected by the federal shutdown.

En el edificio de Fisher Federal Building , en esta ceremonia estuvo presente el honorable Juez John R. Parker, quien dio entrega de los certificados a los nuevos ciudadanos , y representantes de la comunidad, Sherly Córdova, Lori Wilson, Kathy Keane.

Congratulations to the 15 new citizens who became citizens this morning, representing six countries: Brazil, the Dominican Republic, India, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Mexico.
At the Fisher Federal Building, the Honorable Judge John R. Parker, who presented certificates to the new citizens, and community representatives Sherly Córdova, Lori Wilson, and Kathy Keane, were present for this ceremony.
