Attention theatre fans: Angelo Civic Theatre's production of Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella opens tonight: Friday, Sept. 4.

The production stars Kristin Capps in the lead role, who has a very pleasing voice. Reagan Oaks stars as the Prince; Omba Kipke as the King, Margaret Pfiel as the Queen, Barbara Coleman as the Stepmother, Delorah Latham as Portia, Hera Olson as Joy, and the lovely Trina Medellin Delgado plays the Fairy Godmother.

At some point when I wasn't paying close-enough attention, it seems a decision was quietly made to dispense with the "old" part of Old Christoval Road, where signage and online mapping are concerned......

Like many of the major roads in frontier towns, most streets were named for their next destination when followed out of town.
