Yellow Rose Drones

We were out last night flying our Yellow Rose Drones LED lifter kite & our latest acquisition, a LED Jellyfish Kite. We tried flying our new LED Snoopy Dog kite, but the wind didn't cooperate.

We're going to be flying kites & Drones for the Portland Music Festival on September 19th, then pop over to Port Aransas Beach, around markers 13-14, to do it all over again. We love getting retained to fly drones for these festivals down at the Texas Gulf Coast.

What is with these small towns in Texas who name themselves & their schools after their water towers? I drove down to La Pryor, Texas, this afternoon, to take some construction progress photos & footage for my favorite client. I took these shots of the nearby water tower while my drone was up in the air.

Yes, somebody was having a yard sale across the street from the school where I was flying. Being a small town, I could hear them gossiping about me as I walked around the property, staying outside the fenced construction areas, maintaining line of sight flying with my drone. I guess seeing a guy in a reflective yellow construction vest & hard hat on a Saturday afternoon was different,

We've been flying our Thermal drone more often at night. It's rather weird to fly this way, but you can really see obstacles (like overhead power lines) much easier. We're using Icy Hot for the colors, so white is hot and black is colder. Everything else is in between those two colors.

Flying our newest custom made LED Nite Kite at Port Aransas beach marker 13 tonight. Our logo was screen printed on the downward facing surface. We'll be out here again tomorrow afternoon & nite.

Working after dark, near other traffic, and turning on my strobe lights for safety purposes. Flying a thermal drone can't be done when it's too hot outside.

This weekend, we'll be heading east to Surfside Beach TX once again, for another kite Festival, this one by Inspirational Crossroads on Folletts Beach, just a couple of miles up the coast from Surfside Beach.

We will be flying our drones to capture photos & video footage as usual.

Later Saturday afternoon, we'll pop back down the beach to Surfside Beach for a 2nd event, Travis's Voice Fentanyl Awareness event showing the photos of 400 victims of Fentanyl poisoning.
