Mourning in the Shriners Children’s Family

With deep sorrow, Shriners Children’s confirms that one of our patients and their family member were aboard the air ambulance that crashed in Philadelphia this afternoon.

The patient, who had received care at Shriners Children’s Philadelphia, was traveling back to Mexico when this tragic loss occurred.

Our hearts and prayers are with the families of the medical crew, the pilots, and all those affected by this unfortunate event.

United in solidarity and mourning. 🖤

Shriners Children’s está desconsolado al confirmar que uno de nuestros pacientes y su familiar estaban a bordo de la Jet Rescue Air Ambulance que se estrelló en Filadelfia esta tarde.

La paciente había recibido atención de Shriners Children’s Filadelfia y estaba siendo transportada de regreso a México en una ambulancia aérea cuando ocurrió el accidente. Por motivos de privacidad del paciente, no podemos decir nada más sobre la paciente y su familia en este momento.

Nuestros corazones y oraciones están con las familias de la tripulación médica y los pilotos que también perdieron la vida en este trágico evento, así como con todas las personas que se vieron afectadas en el lugar del incidente.

🌟 Introducing The Monarca Project 🌟

We are proud to announce that The Monarca Project is partnering with the Texas Shrine Hospital in Galveston to provide support and assistance to families with children receiving care at this incredible facility.

The Texas Shrine Hospital is dedicated to helping children with specialized medical needs, and we are inspired by their mission of compassion and care.

Through The Monarca Project, we aim to ease the challenges families face by raising funds to provide $100 gift cards to each family staying at the facility. These gift cards will help with meals, travel, and other essentials, giving families some relief during their time away from home.

Our goal is to create a meaningful impact by:
🦋 Providing families with resources for meals, travel, and essentials.
🦋 Offering a sense of community and support during their hospital stay.
