Bondo is excellent for repairing larger areas that will be painted later. It dries quickly, so be prepared to work fast—and always wear the proper safety gear when applying and sanding it.

I was given this antique wardrobe for FREE and it was full of charm, but it needed a refresh! I gave it a deep clean to remove years of grime, then brought out the natural beauty of the wood with a rich stain and durable topcoat. Now it’s protected and looking timeless. I originally found these mismatched nightstands for $20 and then a few weeks later I found this dresser for $40 and decided to try and make a set!

Removing the old base and building a new one for each piece helped everything tie together. I love this color green with the brass hardware! Tell me what you think, would you try mixing pieces to make a set?

Nothing freshens up a front porch like a bold new door color! I gave my cousins entryway a makeover with a deep navy blue!

Here’s the step-by-step:
1. Clean – I started by giving the door a good scrub to remove dirt, dust, and cobwebs.

2. Scuff sand – A light sanding helps the primer grip better and smooths out any imperfections.

3. Wash it down again – Wiped away all that sanding dust so I had a clean slate.

4. Prime – One even coat of primer to seal and prep the surface.

5. Paint – Three thin, even coats of rich navy blue for a flawless, long-lasting finish.

The result? A classic, moody pop of color that makes the whole porch feel elevated and welcoming.

After updating my dining table, I knew I wanted a washable rug. We eat at the table for every meal, and with three kids things can get messy. I am beyond excited to help launched their first machine-washable rug collection with and ! “Banks Collection BAN-02 Machine Washable Denim / Clay” is gorgeous with it’s beautiful deep moody colors, not to mention it’s incredibly soft!

I found this danish teak chair by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik for free! It had large cracks and moldy fabric that needed to be replaced. I secured the cracks with wood glue and added a dowel for extra strength. Then I used a toner to blend the imperfections and sealed the whole thing with a new coat of lacquer. Added new foam and fabric, and now it has a new life in my home!
