2nd Edit Wednesday 24th 1030 am:
We got everything situated, got keys and are unloading the car now! We’ll do paperwork and sign lease when they get their system up and running, probably tomorrow or next day. We’ll go back to our daughter’s and get the U-Haul soon and start unloading it. Jacob has TWO guys coming to help this afternoon!!! Hallelujah praise the Lord!!! Because… we’re on the 3rd floor and this building doesn’t have an elevator like our old one did 😭
Ps… This apartment smells brand new!! It’s only 2 years old.

Edit: Jacob switched days with one of the other supervisors so we’ll have all day today!! Thank you Lord!!!! Yall pray for us. I can barely move This morning. I had a heat exhaustion episode when we got to Emilys, just carrying bags from the truck to her apartment . It was a bad one!!

Well we had a set back in moving. We got everything loaded. We had no help. It was just me and Jacob. Well… mainly Jacob cause I can’t do anything. 🤦🏻♀️ We headed out to our new apartment. Called to make sure the girls were still gonna be in the office because they close at six and we were gonna be a little after six getting there because it took us literally all day to get loaded and then clean everything behind us. Well the girl I talked to informed me that the regional people were there and we were gonna have to wait till tomorrow to move in so that we could get our electric account number and renters insurance account number to them first. We were just going to move into our apartment tonight and then do all of our paperwork tomorrow but regional showed up and threw a wrench in it. Sooooooo everything we own is either crammed into the back of my Palisade or in the U-Haul. We have no toothbrush no underwear no shoes. We do have have clothes in the back of the car that’s easy to get to. So we’re staying at Emily‘s tonight and we’ll have to make a run to Walmart later to get toothbrushes and stuff. And we have to pay for another day rent on the U-Haul. And Jacob works tomorrow which means we can’t unload at the new place until he gets off work. 😩
Ugh!!!! Satan you’re really ticking me off!!! 😡 Get thee behind me!!
