I recently started frequenting the La Michoacana near my house and I am loving it! It’s close enough that my children and I can walk which I so enjoy. If you are looking for phenomenal bollios and a variety of delicious pan dulces I highly recommend you check it out yourself. While they do not have everything I’ve needed when shopping there ( no beef broth) they do offer a wide variety of products and it much closer than big grocery store.

I made my mom Leslie Parker grießnockerlsuppe because she isn’t feeling well! I picked up her prescriptions and delivered them to her along with some cough drops and a some bone broth packets for sipping. I hope it helps her feel better! She did these types of things for me and I enjoy doing them for her.

I first had it many years ago when I was dating my ex husband. My mother in law would make it and send it home with us. Then whenever I didn’t feel well she would make it for me either voluntarily or by request. I made sure to find a recipe to make it myself so I could make German foods for my children like she made for hers. It was important to me to be able to make some of the meals my husband (at the time) grew up eating and wanted out two sons to enjoy them as well. My mother in law, Erika, has been gone for 3 years now but I try to talk about her often with my sons to keep her memory alive.

Unfortunately this hand mixer is about 18 years old and I think it’s finally about worn out. I’m somehow down to one be**er and it’s not sounding to good is it?! I think I’ll need to replace it one of these days. I hope it lasts until I can afford one. We had a good run though, 18 years is pretty good I think!

It is impossible to choose just one. The struggle was real…but I somehow managed to walk away empty handed. Sad face! 😞

I just love the garden section at HEB in Grissom. I wish I worked in a garden center, I love flowers and plants so much!

Check out the Kalenchoe on clearance for under $2. They look a little sad but with a little TLC I bet they’ll be GORGEOUS!!

My personal FAVORITE are the Coleus. I want every variety I come across. The leaves are just so big and b-e-a-u-tiful!!
