Short, bitten nails scare most techs — but they don’t have to.

These are the kinds of transformations that separate good from booked out.
Working with severely bitten nails can feel intimidating — the lifting, the uneven beds, the fear of breaking the seal. But once you understand the trick to using dual forms for these clients, the game changes.

When done right, dual forms give that seamless, sculpted finish and protect the natural nail underneath. Master this technique and these clients become loyal for life — because no one else is giving them hope like this.

It’s crazy what eight months of really pushing yourself can do. 🫶

Eight months ago I was a completely different nail tech — less confident, less sure of my style, still figuring out what “good” even looked like for me. Competing at the MGart 2025 Beauty Awards felt like a full-circle moment. Placing third was wild, but what means more is seeing the growth, discipline, and confidence I’ve built along the way.

What made the weekend even more special was meeting so many incredible nail artists from all over the world — people I’ve learned with, admired, or quietly been inspired by online. Getting to share space with them reminded me that I’m not alone in this passion. 💅

Big love to .miami for the mentorship and for bringing such a talented, supportive community together. This isn’t the finish line — just a marker of how far I’ve come and how much more I want to grow. ✨
