Thank you to everyone who voted in the State Bar elections! I am humbled and honored that you have chosen me to be your next State Bar President-Elect! Your support means the world to me, and I promise to work hard for Texas lawyers.

I would also like to thank all of my friends and supporters, especially my wife Patty Vargas. Patty, I could not have taken so much as the first step in this journey without you. You have worked tirelessly and endured countless burdens. Thank you and I love you!

I also want to acknowledge the tremendous effort that Denise Scofield put into this race. She is a tireless advocate for Texas lawyers and an exceptional leader. Today marks the last day of travel in a campaign which has taken me all across the Lone Star State. From El Paso to Beaumont and Amarillo to the RGV and everywhere in between.
