Operating spray foam equipment in colder winter temperatures requires extra care to ensure the foam performs properly and the application is effective. At JC Insulation, we take several crucial steps to maintain high-quality service and ensure the foam adheres to specifications:

- Maintain Rig Conditions: We use heaters to control the temperature of the chemicals, ensuring that both the isocyanate and resin stay within the optimal range for proper mixing and application.
- Regular Equipment Maintenance: We perform regular checks and maintenance on our rig equipment to prevent any malfunctions that might arise due to the cold weather, ensuring uninterrupted service.
- Pre-Heating Chemicals: Before we start spraying on a job site, we pre-heat the chemicals to the appropriate temperature, which ensures the foam reacts properly and maintains its consistency during application.
- Spraying On-Ratio Foam: We take extra care to ensure that the chemicals are mixed in the correct ratio to deliver the desired performance and avoid off-ratio issues, which can lead to poor insulation and improper curing.

By following these protocols, we are able to deliver high-quality, on-ratio foam, even in colder winter conditions.
