You Are Tetherless to the Materialists of the World

That is the phrase born from the journey inward in Terlingua, TX. Mental health is a mo********er, and while I've always had my fair bout of challenges with the mind, it had been over 6 years since I was last faced with something as heavy.

I had experienced the dark night of the soul before when I was 21, triggered by a sequence of events in said time. However, its resurfacing had no trigger and in a sense came from its own state of consciousness.

I am aware that many of you will deal with a similar situation at some point in your life, and if you're lucky, it will resurface more than once. Don't be afraid and instead look inward as to the meaning of the event. These things always have a hidden messaging within, you just gotta be willing to walk the dark valley to find it. Some of us may find it easier to turn to alcohol or substance abuse instead of taking that journey; that I've come to understand is the manifestation of death in the body triggered by death of the mind.

The challenge of conquering mind has been something I've devoted my entire life to, and while work has proven to take it's priority these past 6 years, it has also proven to imbalance the very state of consciousness I've built in the span of my lifetime. Coherence is the portal and the expansion of consciousness is the breakthrough.

I decided to make this short film from the perspective of my experience to hopefully inspire others to talk about their challenges and not grow shameful nor build an agoraphobic nature to personality. For centuries doctors have looked at their patients, prescribed a lab made remedy, and have hoped for healing. Without asking the patient to give themselves a fighting chance by looking inward, introspectively analyzing The Self, and exploring the root through the portals of consciousness, gratitude, and interconnectedness.

In whatever challenges you're facing today, I hope that you find peace and meaning.

You are tetherless to the materialists of the world. Be easy on yourself.
