Have you ever heard the story of the sand dollar? 🐚Legend says the sand dollar holds deep Christian symbolism.

🌊 The five slits represent the wounds of Christ.
🌿 On one side, you’ll see the Easter lily.
⭐️ On the other, a star – the Star of Bethlehem.

And if you break one open, you’ll find five tiny white “doves” inside – a symbol of peace and the spirit.

Next time you find a sand dollar on the beach, pause for a moment. It’s more than a seashell—it’s a story of faith, hope, and peace.

: We're in an era where people want to stay connected to you, while secretly disliking you. They don't clap for you, they don't help you, they hang around to study you, drain you, & lowkey compete.. Protect your peace. Stay focused. Everybody in your circle isn't in your corner.

: You don't need closure to move on. You waited for an apology. For understanding. For someone to finally say, "I messed up." But healing came when you stopped needing anything from them. Closure isn't something they give-it's something you decide.

I spent my 5th business anniversary doing everything I love — supporting local businesses, collaborating with nonprofits, sipping on my favorite coffee, hanging out with some of my favorite business associates, and creating content for clients and Live from the Southside.

Hard to believe that just five years ago, I closed the doors to my spa business of 12 years… and took a leap of faith, writing stories about my South San Antonio community.

What a roller-coaster it’s been — full of growth, grit, and gratitude.

Thanks to everyone who’s been part of the journey. Here's to continuing everything, sharing stories, and staying rooted in purpose.

PS. Thank you, , for always being a joy to work with, and for allowing us to use your space.
