Dinner at Sin Yolanda turned into a full-on night out and I loved every minute of it. 🔥🌮🥩

I started with the Elotitos Maricarmen Style—three half corn cobs smothered in ancho cream and coated in a crunchy mix of Hot Cheetos, Blue Cheetos, or Doritos. Fun, messy, and worth it. 🌽🔥
Next up, the Provolone Queso Fundido with Chistorra, melted provolone grilled to perfection with smoky regional chistorra. Comfort food with attitude. 🧀

For the main course, the 8 oz Rib-Eye Steak came out beautifully plated with sautéed baby vegetables, fine herb mashed potatoes, house sauce, and tortillas. Solid, flavorful, and satisfying. If you’re extra hungry, they also offer a 12 oz rib-eye. 🥩✨

The Arrachera Tacos were puro fuego. You get two per order, each packed with grilled arrachera, avocado slice, house red sauce, marinated onions, and a lime wedge. Simple ingredients, bold ex*****on. 🌮🔥

Drinks were just as much a part of the experience. The Paloma came in a stunning Frida Kahlo ceramic glass, and they’ve got another signature Sin Yolanda mug that’s just as cool. 🍹
Then there’s the Chapulín—Maestro Dobel Diamante tequila, pineapple juice, mango juice, lime juice, a splash of ginger ale, topped with strawberry pieces, chamoy, and chili powder. Bright, colorful, and full of flavor. 🌶️🍓

And don’t dip out early. As the night goes on, the atmosphere shifts into party mode with karaoke and even more fun, making it more than just a dinner spot—it’s an experience. 🎤✨

Had the absolute pleasure of attending the Media + Influencer Tasting for the La Panadería Stone Oak Grand Opening and it did not disappoint. ✨🥐

From the ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m. (missed grabbing a photo, but the moment was solid), to the vibes at the entrance with DJ Quake setting the tone, the energy was exactly what Stone Oak’s been waiting for. I also got my first in-person look at Don Lino, La Panadería’s brand-new mascot, who’ll be popping in for photo ops throughout the grand opening festivities. 📸

The doors are officially open as of Wednesday, December 17, and you can feel the excitement in the area. Stone Oak waited patiently, and now one of San Antonio’s most beloved bakeries has landed in a big way. This also marks La Panadería’s largest location to date, and it shows.

If you haven’t stopped by yet, now’s the time. Stone Oak finally has its La Panadería moment. 🥖🔥

Wrapped up today at the very first Pullman Market Tamale Festival, and wow… San Antonio showed up 🌽✨

Pullman Market kicked off what feels like a brand-new holiday tradition just in time for tamale season, and the energy was real. Lines wrapped around booths, families filled the space, and the smell of fresh tamales pretty much took over Karnes Street. From classic favorites to creative spins, there was no shortage of tamales to enjoy on-site or pack up for the holidays.

Beyond the food, the festival delivered the full experience. Family-friendly activities curated by The DoSeum, live music from DJ Caliente, and a Best Tamale competition that had serious talent on display made it more than just a food stop. It felt like a true community celebration.

Huge shoutout to the vendors who made Pullman Market’s debut Tamale Festival such a hit:

If this was year one, consider me locked in for year two. San Antonio + tamales + the holidays just make sense 🎄

🕊️ Rest in Peace, Abraham Quintanilla 🕊️

Abraham Quintanilla has passed away at the age of 86. The news was shared by his son, A.B. Quintanilla, who wrote:
“It’s with a heavy heart to let you guys know that my Dad passed away today…”

The cause of death has not been publicly shared.

Mr. Quintanilla played a pivotal role in shaping Selena’s life and career, guiding and supporting her rise as the Queen of Tejano music. His influence and dedication left a lasting mark on music history and on generations of fans.

Our thoughts are with the Quintanilla family during this difficult time.
Rest easy, sir. 🌹💜

🎄✨ Holiday magic unlocked at by ✨🛼

Join me for some festive fun at the Jingle Bell Roll, where you can reserve a roller-skate session right over the Topaz Pool, then kick back in one of the cozy Festive Cove Cabanas with food, drinks, and all the holiday vibes.

Stayed the night so please join me for a tour of the newly renovated rooms, and wow. The view of the Texas Hill Country paired with the glowing Christmas tree by the fountains felt straight out of a holiday postcard 🎅🎄

If you’re looking for a magical stay this season, this is it. Highly recommend if you haven’t experienced it yet.
