Mark your calendars for our next concert: 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼, on May 12. This emotionally resonant program features a world premiere of 𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙤 𝙙𝙚 𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙤 by Armando Bayolo. Setting six texts in as many languages, this work seeks to create an ecumenical expression of grief that embraces all traditions. and also marks SOLI’s second collaboration with the San Antonio Chamber Choir. The evening’s program will also showcase 𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘻𝘦 by Dianna Link, a work from SOLI’s groundbreaking 30x30x30 Project, Shawn Okpebholo’s moving reimagining of 𝘈𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 for solo piano, and 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘻𝘶𝘭 𝘺 𝘣𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴 by Marco-Adrián Ramos, winner of the 2023 Cross-Country Chamber Consortium, of which SOLI is a co-founder.
