This weekend was Down Syndrome Association of South Texas 20th Anniversary Buddy Walk, so in celebration we wanted to share 2019's Buddy Walk Positive Impact video we created. Once again thank you to DSASTX, Brooke Kearney, Nicole Galindo, and everyone who welcomed us and participated in our video.

We ceate an experience with RISE Therapeutic Equestrian Center in San Antonio, Texas as we explore what Equestrian Assisted Therapy is and all the services the RISE Rehab team offer. Jenn got to participate in helping with some of the lessons. This was definitely a fun and educational experience.

To the day we met with Alamo City Pit Bull Rescue at one of their meetups! We got to learn about the work they are doing to help save Pit Bull lives, how their dog foster program works, what they do to teach the community about caring for pit bulls, and got to meet lots of precious Pit Bulls!!!! (June 2019, Sn1 Ep2) I must say it was physically demanding to film across multiple warm days, BUT meeting the Special Olympic Athletes and their super positive attitudes was the highlight of all of it; forever cherishing this opportunity!!! Special Olympics Texas

Side Note: Another cool highlight, I was told that I was the only one Eva Longoria granted an interview with besides the main news outlet involved.

We create an experience with Special Olympics Texas during their 50th Anniversary and their Summer Games, take a tour of their event with Morgan's Wonderland, we get to experience what Special Olympics means to everyone involved, heartfelt expressions from those involved with Special Olympics, and we even get an intimate interview from Eva Longoria Baston and Gordon Hartman.

A HUGE THANKS to everyone at Special Olympics Texas and at the Summer Games who took the time to participate in telling me what Special Olympics means to you. I truly appreciate being a part of your experience and learning from you.

Filmed over a year ago, this video was first published June 2019. The very first episode in the Positive Impact Series (Sn1 Ep1). I was super nervous while filming since it was my first Documentary style video to shoot and wanted it to be as perfect as possible. Turned out to be super fun to film and I am very grateful to have been a part of a fun night at the Down Syndrome Association of South Texas Spring Formal!
