Flaco Jimenez’s Final Curtain Call Memorial Service

Thursday, August 7, 2025, 6:00-9:00pm

The Carver Community Culture Center

Arthur & Lisa Jimenez and Javier & Raquel Fernandez invite Flaco’s beloved friends and fans to join them for a public memorial honoring his long life and musical legacy this Thursday, August 7 at 6:00pm at the Carver Community Cultural Center.

The memorial celebration will begin with a prayer service by Deacon Adam Garza followed by words from those who knew him best. The memorial will conclude with a musical tribute by Los Texmaniacs. In lieu of a funeral please join us at this public celebration of Flaco's life.

Seating is first come, first served. Floral arrangements can be sent to the Carver Center Lobby on the Thursday of the event at 226 N Hackberry St, San Antonio, TX 78202. Special thanks to the Carver Community Culture Center, David and Sarah Chavez, and WellMed.

It is with great sadness that we share tonight the loss of our father, Flaco Jimenez. He was surrounded by his loved ones and will be missed immensely. Thank you to all of his fans and friends—those who cherished his music. And a big thank you for all of the memories. His legacy will live on through his music and all of his fans. The family requests privacy during this time of sadness and grievance.
