A History:
In 2004 a young laddie by the name of Prater was asked by a wise man known only as Samurai Mike to sub for his show, The Rock n Roll Dojo. Mike soon offered him money, beer, and the finest gold in the world to continue with what he played. But Prater jus

t settled for a Wednesday night time slot hosting. Fast forward that tape to 2007, a new PD with balls of steel emerged. Not only had Prater introduced Punk Rock 101 but he also brought a long the lovely Ms. Sally Sweetness to help rotate the show with him. In 2008 the show moved to its former spot, Tuesday nights 9-11, to feature live, local bands on the show. As time went on, Sally realized she needed to finish school. In 2010, Prater began to focus on his band, Nada Mas Basura. Captain Barbosa was recruited to keep the show going and going he did. In 2013, Headmistress nEuROTICA brought YOU the BEST that Punk has to offer, who then passed it on to the mysterious DJ Gonzo! The year is 2016. After the mysterious disappearance of DJ Gonzo, last seen fighting off posers and having rad taste in music, Punk Rock 101 was left desolate...until Vile Lynn stepped up to the plate. Like DJ Gonzo, Vile Lynn escaped into the black void and was never heard from again. Fast forward to 2022 and Punk Rock 101 was reforged from the fires of anarchy. Minnie Pearl and Kate in Space now run the only top rated punk rock show in San Antonio. Bringing you punk rock from the 1970's and beyond. Tune in or tune it out. We don't care.
