📍 WEST SIDE, SAN ANTONIO; Let me put y’all on real quick…

If you know, you know. is that hood Michelin star spot serving handmade flavor straight from the heart of the West Side.

I started with their brand-new Las Cazuelitas mini cast iron skillets stacked with flavor. I tried the:
   •   Chicharrón en Salsa Verde
   •   Bistec con Papa
   •   Puerco Rojo
   •   Frijol con Queso Ranchero

Each one? Different level.

Then came the gorditas hechas a mano; thick, golden, and stuffed with the good stuff. I went with picadillo and queso ranchero con frijol, and that fresh-pressed masa was perfection.

You know I had to hit both the 🟩 verde and 🟥 rojos chilaquiles; saucy, cheesy, and layered with that crispy-soft bite that hits just right.

Washed it all down with a creamy horchata, but hit it with a splash of coffee that’s the move.

✨ Real food, handmade, and full of corazón. West Side approved.

📍 LEON SPRINGS, TX; If you’re looking for the perfect date night spot, let me put you on to a hidden gem: 🍷🇮🇹

Cozy, elegant, and full of flavor; this place checks all the boxes.

I kicked things off with the Albi’s Shrimp Appetizer in that signature lemon butter sauce 🔥, followed by the Bruschetta alla Feta; fresh, crispy, and loaded with flavor. For drinks? I customized a Lemon Drop with a splash of Limoncello and Prosecco and it did not disappoint.

Dinner was next level:
🍝 Linguine with White Clams
🍗 Fettuccine Alfredo topped with Pecan-Crusted Chicken
🌿 Pesto Primavera

And to finish? The Chocolate Lava Cake and their Limoncello Cake both worth every bite.

Whether it’s a date night, a special dinner, or just treating yourself Albi’s Vite delivers.

📍SAN ANTONIO Westside, let me put y’all on real quick.
I pulled up to the brand-new at Las Palmas to check out their San Antonio exclusive menu, and they did NOT disappoint.

I kicked things off with the updated Fish Bites, now made with both salmon and whitefish, crispy, golden, and full of flavor. Then came that Mambo Rice, built like it’s got something to prove.

Next up, I had the Al Pastor Shrimp Tacos off the new Mambonifico Taco menu, perfectly seasoned and full of that classic flavor with a twist.

But the real showstopper? That Mambonazo seafood boil, loaded with snow crab, shrimp, sausage, and corn. It came seasoned like your favorite tía was in the back making sure you didn’t leave hungry.

To wash it all down, I had the Pepinada with chamoy, icy, tangy, spicy, and refreshing.

🔥 For the quality, freshness, and portions you’re getting, you’re not gonna find a better value for mariscos in San Antonio. This is how we do seafood on the Westside.

👉 Tap in and try the new SA-only dishes while they’re hot.

With this cooler weather finally rolling in, I had to pull back up to for some of my comfort food favorites. 🍜🔥

I started with a hot cup of tea, crispy Vietnamese spring rolls, and some summer rolls with that creamy peanut sauce, fresh, clean, and full of flavor. You already know I had to spice up the sauce my way. 🌶️

Then I dove into their new Combination Pad Thai, packed with beef, shrimp, and chicken: sweet, savory, and just the right kick. 🍤🍜

But the real warm-up? Their rich and aromatic Chicken Pho and that bold Vietnamese Beef Stew — both perfect for these chilly days.

And of course, I had to close it out with the pork chop plate, juicy, tender, and always worth it.

If you’re looking for something comforting and flavorful this fall, Taste of Asia is a whole vibe.

📍 SAN ANTONIO — Let me put y’all on to one of Broadway’s best-kept secrets…
isn’t just a restaurant. It’s an experience.

With vibrant indoor-outdoor vibes, live music, and a drink menu that goes way beyond the basics, this spot brings that next-level energy and flavor. I kicked things off with some 🔥 botanas:
the crispy chicharrón de ribeye molcajete, costillas de elote, papas Patrona, and volcanes de ribeye, all bold, rich, and full of flavor.

To wash it down? A michelada, the signature La Patrona Margarita, and a cool, crisp cucumber martini. 🍸

Then came the main event: that fall-off-the-bone Mexican short rib slow braised in adobo and red wine, served with cambray potatoes. Pure comfort.
And for dessert? The butter toasted Co**ha Planchada with jam and ice cream, plus a Carajillo that set it all off just right. ☕🔥

At La Patrona, tradition and innovation live on every plate. With recipes passed down through generations and a kitchen that takes pride in every bite.

👉 Tap in. Pull up. This is what real sabor looks like in San Antonio.

I had to pull up to , recently rebranded as BB’s Cajun Cantina. 🦐 🍗 🔥 Not only is their seafood on point, but their creole wings were some of the best I’ve had in San Antonio. Don’t skip on the Maw Maw’s Bread Pudding to finish it off! And the best part? You can get the full Cajun spread delivered right to your door with the app.

I had to spin the block on one of my favorite spots in San Antonio, .

Now, most folks know them for their legendary pollo asado, and don’t get me wrong, it still hits — but this menu runs deep. I’m talkin’ birria tacos with a cheese pull that deserves its own round of applause, molcajete bubbling with flavor, and enchiladas loaded with grilled pollo asado inside. 🔥

I even closed it all down with a slice of strawberry cheesecake. But the pro tip? Mix the beans and rice together and thank me later. That combo is soul food.

Whether you’re breaking down that juicy grilled chicken into your own tacos or diving straight into the molcajete, this spot is full of flavor, heart, and culture.

San Antonio, if you haven’t been to El Carbonero in a minute… this is your sign.
