With Microsoft announcing the death of Skype. I'm getting quite a few messages of customers on how this will impact their remote calling capability on NewTek - now Vizrt TriCaster. Especially products like TriCaster 2 Elite, TriCaster Mini 4k, etc.

So far, I'm being told that SkypeTX is not being killed and you will be able to take Teams calls... Teams was originally Skype for Business and was rebranded as Teams.

Will post more as we get updates from NewTek - now Vizrt

Microsoft is retiring Skype from active duty 14 years after acquiring it, with users given nine weeks to decide their next move.
