Do you remember? Where were you?
I remember. I remember that day, every “9/11” since, and how I felt while I lived in NYC. Thinking about my dear friends and colleagues in the tri-state area and how they were impacted. Some were in school, others walked home miles with only their thoughts and silence, and many who volunteered at ground zero for both 2 and 4 legged heroes.
I will never forget where I was, what I was doing, or how I felt….with the first plane, second plane, tower 2, tower 1, Pentagon, Pennsylvania. I was in Dallas, the Today Show on the t.v. in the background, my apartment, hair, makeup, driving to work, radio on and every station reporting, thinking about my mom and her husband living in NY. Is she in The City? where is she? Is she safe? I can’t reach her, cell towers are down. Is it over? Are there more planes? Why? Why? So many lives. Why?
