San Antonio artist, educator, and community philanthropist Ashley Perez has been selected for the prestigious Casa Lü Artist Residency. This summer, she’s bringing The Forgiveness Project international — a powerful series exploring healing, identity, and cultural storytelling.

With over 16 years of arts education and exhibitions from the McNay to Mexico, Ashley’s work speaks with color, compassion, and purpose. Her symbols — birds, snakes, and plants — carry stories of trust, boundaries, and transformation.

This opportunity is more than just a residency. It’s a chance to grow, connect, and create space for Latinx voices in global conversations about healing through art.
