I would say we’ve completed a lot of our biggest projects, and this city girl is learning to live a country life.

It’s been a very long minute since I’ve last posted.
Last year, almost to this day when my husband had retired, and we were preparing to really enjoy this place and doing big projects, I got diagnosed with breast cancer.
So, the last year has been extremely busy with treatments, and a lot of things got put on hold.

Earlier in the year as chemo was finishing, I started my garden, still learning and we got our chickens thanks to a wonderful lady and friend.

Now, that chemo, surgery, radiation is all finished and I only have one more immunotherapy left, I will definitely be posting more of our shenanigans, mostly mine, as I’m still learning and adapting to ‘country life.’
