Congratulations to our athletes of the week: Patricia Aguilar and Andrew Godinez.

One of the captains of the water polo team, Patty had fifteen goals, eleven assists, and seven steals in the games held over the break. Her competitive excellence and leadership have helped the girls to a first place record of 4-0 in league.

At the Redlands East Valley wrestling tournament, Andrew had four pins and won the championship in his division. In the coming weeks, he looks forward to winning a team and individual league title.

Nice going Cardinals! Your teammates, coaches, and school are all very proud of you.

On Thursday the 11th, San Bernardino High schools varsity soccer team went against Indian High schools team. The game was a home game on San Bernardino’s soccer courts, both teams were going head on since the end score was 4-4 a tie. However San Bernardino’s soccer team has been doing pretty well with 5 wins and 2 losses. The head coach said “The game was a little back and forward. We don’t usually give up this many goals but today was one of those days”

Congratulations to our athletes of the week: Savannah Martinez and Reyna Perez. Both are outstanding student athletes and recipients of the Ultimate Cardinal Athlete award.

In last week's water polo matches, Savannah made twenty-seven saves as goalkeeper, while contributing seven assists, five steals, and three goals playing in the field.

The captain of the girls soccer team, Reyna played excellent defense in last week's games where she had twenty-two steals, as well as numerous clearances and offsides drawn.

Nice going ladies! Your teammates, coaches, and school are all very proud of you.

The girls’ water polo team played against San G’s Spartans on Tuesday Dec. 2nd. The team fought hard for their eventual victory over the Spartans with a score of 16-4. “I felt very good about the score. I feel like my team did such a great job in communicating with each other and working together,” said 12th grader Aryanna Brambila.
