LT and Associates has worked on several ballot measures and candidate campaigns in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties in the past 20 years. Land use entitlement work for commercial, housing, life science and mixed use projects is a specialty and the core of LT and Assiciates’ work. Local and national clients include include Jay Paul Co, Sutter Health, Sares Regis, Carmel Partners, Steelwave, Syufy, Premia Capital, Windy Hill Property Ventures, CA Coastal Properties, KB Home, MBC Biolabs, among others. Working directly with several local municipalities as a communications consultant, LT and Associates guides city staff on crafting and implementing cohesive communication strategies across departments. Over the years these communities have included the Cities of Palo Alto, San Carlos, Millbrae, Belmont, San Mateo and Portola Valley.

Laura Teutschel is the managing principal of LT & Associates Strategic Communications. Based in San Carlos, her firm is a full-service communications consultancy serving clients throughout San Mateo County and the greater Bay Area. Her work includes media relations and public outreach, developer entitlement outreach strategy, political campaigns, advocacy and integrated marketing strategy, print and online content creation and design, social media content and design. LT & Associates specializes in creating and implementing communications and outreach strategies for developers, cities and political campaigns, but also has a background working with private businesses and non-profit organizations. She has worked on several ballot measures in San Mateo County in the past decade and has led the outreach efforts for large developer entitlements including the Palo Alto Medical Foundation’s San Carlos campus and most recently Windy Hill Property Ventures’ Meridian25 Commercial campus. Her most notable current development project is outreach on the highly publicized Wheeler Plaza redevelopment by KB Home in downtown San Carlos. Working directly with several San Mateo County cities as a communications consultant, LT and Associates guides city staff on crafting and implementing cohesive community outreach efforts and messaging across departments. These communities have included the Cities of Palo Alto, San Carlos, Millbrae, Belmont and Portola Valley.
