The SOCO Institute The SOCO Institute was established in April 2007 as a division of The SOCO Group, a petroleum marketer headquartered in Carlsbad, CA.

The SOCO Institute was established in April of 2007 as a department of The SOCO Group. It is our goal to have the institute funded by a portion of the The SOCO Group’s net earnings plus the proceeds of two assets located at The Village at Mammoth, California. The initial proceeds given by The SOCO Institute are $160,000 to approximately 10 charitable causes. The ten year goal, however, is to distribute $5 million per year.
