“STARS, STRIPES & SLIP ‘N SLIDES” RETURNS JULY 4TH

New Location, Same Unforgettable Fun at Linda Lane Park

Get ready for a splash-filled celebration! The City of San Clemente is proud to present the return of Stars, Stripes & Slip ‘N Slides on Thursday, July 4, 2025, at a brand-new location: Linda Lane Park. The festivities kick off at 10:00 a.m. and will feature a 300-foot slip ‘n slide, live music, activities for all ages, and a vibrant community atmosphere to celebrate Independence Day—San Clemente style!

Live Entertainment Schedule

Enjoy live music from local favorites throughout the day:

10:30 AM: Emily Brimlow
12:30 PM: Sega Genecide
Activities for All Ages

This family-friendly event features a variety of activities to keep guests of all ages entertained:

300-Foot San Clemente Slip ‘N Slide (ages 8+ years)
40-Foot Water Slide (ages 2+ years)
Giant Inflatable Obstacle Course
Water Balloon Toss Competitions
Face painting and temporary tattoos
Laser Tag arena
Pop-a-shot basketball contest
Slip ‘N Slide Whiffle Ball - NEW!!
Military Vehicle Display by Camp Pendleton
Food & Beverage

A variety of food trucks will be on-site offering something for every appetite (vendors to be announced).

A beer garden will feature local craft brews from Los Molinos Brewery with proceeds supporting the Friends of San Clemente Beaches, Parks & Recreation Foundation—a nonprofit that helps fund community events, programs, and park improvements. The beer garden opens at 10:00 AM.

Parking and Transportation

Leave the car at home and hop on the San Clemente Trolley, running 10:00 AM–11:00 PM on July 4th. Convenient stops near the event are Red/Green Line stops #16 and #2. For trolley details, visit www.san-clemente.org/trolley.

Dedicated bicycle and e-bike parking will also be available near the event entrance.

Admission & Wristbands

General admission is free. Food and drinks sold separately.

All-access activity wristbands include unlimited runs on the Slip ‘N Slide and access to other attractions:

Pre-sale (through July 3): $7 (Residents) | $12 (Non-residents)
Day-of: $10 (Residents) | $15 (Non-residents)
Active duty military receive the resident rate. Contact the Recreation Division for details.
