On May 13–14, 2026, four amazing educators participated in a Shadow Coaching Certification event led by Kagan Trainer Christi Brown and made history as the first group to apply and be accepted as Certified Kagan Coaches!

This intensive, in-person coaching experience provided immediate feedback and certification in just two days, empowering the team to support and sustain Kagan Cooperative Learning implementation on their own campus.

We're excited to celebrate this milestone and the commitment of Baggs Elementary to creating highly engaged, cooperative learning environments for all students. 👏
