Meet our 2025 Clinton E. Phillips recipient: Hannah Checkwicz-Grosberg! 🎉
Hannah is a q***r activist and future MFT and Art Therapist. She’s currently exploring how collaborative art-making can help influence identity, belongingness, and empathy in youth. She's also learning Spanish and ASL to better serve diverse communities in the LA area. Congrats, Hannah!
Our runner up is Richard Fontenot. Richard is currently pursuing his studies in neuroscience at Duke University. Previously, he worked with LA County Probation/DMH, supporting some of California’s most underprivileged and diverse teenagers, and was recognized for his qualitative research on the efficacy of CBT group therapy. Keep up the amazing work, Richard!
