• Survived another long-haul, red-eye flight with a toddler. Thank you, Jesus and Mama Mary! 🤍🥰

I’ve always had Australia in my bucket list. I once dreamed of working there too. But God had better plans for me.

Maybe Australia wasn’t meant to be the place where I would build a career, but a place I would get to experience with my little family instead. And honestly, I think I like this version of the dream so much better.

From dreaming about coming here someday to finally seeing Sydney with my own eyes… it feels a little surreal.

So here’s to another family adventure, another answered prayer, and another reminder that sometimes God doesn’t give us exactly what we planned for… He gives us something even more beautiful. 🤍

There are moments in history that happened so long ago, yet somehow still feel close.

September 11, 2001 is one of them.

Today, I’m thinking about the people who woke up that morning not knowing it would be their last. The parents, children, husbands, wives, friends, and strangers who simply went to work or boarded a plane, expecting an ordinary day.

I’m thinking about the families who said goodbye that morning without knowing it would be the last goodbye. And about the first responders and ordinary people who, in the middle of unimaginable fear, chose to help others.

So many years have passed, but their lives still matter. Their stories still matter. And the people who loved them still remember.

Today isn’t about remembering a tragedy alone. It’s about remembering the lives behind it—the dreams they had, the people they loved, and the moments they should have been given more of.

May we never become so accustomed to history that we forget the human beings within it.

For every life lost, every family changed, and every hero who stepped forward—
we remember you.
We honor you.
We will never forget. 🕊️
