As drifters we’re lucky to have found our thing in this world that keeps us going. Not everyone is so lucky to find their thing or even have the resources to pursue it if they do. Sometimes a break to see what your life looks like without it is all you need to realize how lucky you are.

It’s always hard to gauge what’s going to happen when you click upload. Hit and Run pumped out nothing but fun entertaining relatable videos that got all of us hyped on drifting and the camaraderie that comes with it. Everything they did felt like a party we wanted to be invited to. The cool cars, the sick driving, the laughs. We wanted to be there for all of it. Their goal was to invoke adventure in others, and they did exactly that.

Jack is another example of the uniquely great people you meet through drifting. He and his team mates from Hit and Run Drift Club really made drifting fun. They created iconic videos with the help of Scott Mitchell that made waves in the drift world. Their stuff really inspired me when I was getting into drifting. It was all just friends having fun and building cool cars to go shred with, rowdy trips to Japan that looked like a dream. It was something to aspire to. They still run their event called Glory Days in Australia, and Jack has been branching out and exploring drifting in a very different way in some unexpected places.

Tommy Roberts and Matt Powers are two guys who know how to have a good time and look cool doing it. I always wondered how they linked up and man, I am so happy they did. From the cars they built to the fun they brought to drifting on the west coast. Drifting would not be the same without them.

Putting out 1,600 vlogs is mind blowing.

If you’ve ever filmed and edited videos, you know how insane that number really is. It’s easy to look at a creator’s car collection, lifestyle, or success and feel a sense of envy. What we don’t always see are the thousands of hours spent behind the camera, behind the computer, and behind the scenes.

Anything worth having comes with sacrifice. The question is whether you’re willing to pay the price long before anyone notices the result.

In 2017, Jason Bostrom and his teammates, Julian Jacobs and Ryan Kado, sent their drift cars to Japan to drift at Meihan Sportsland. What they got from the trip was a lesson in car setup and driving technique that they still use today. Check out our mini documentary by (julius) about his trip to Kansai All Stars on the channel.

(Jamo) is the newest member of (animal style). Coming into the sport of drifting at such a young age and proving yourself so quickly to veterans is not easy. For Jamo he’s still got a lot of driving in front of him and we’re excited to see where he takes it.

From someone who’s drifted all over the world, both competitively and for fun, over the last two decades. Keisuke, (86 fighters) knows what he’s talking about. Keeping things simple is the key to being the best driver in the long term.

Hert and T-Pain are natural entertainers, and both are legends in their own field. Seeing them work together is a beautiful thing, and there is never a dull moment.
