Life moves fast, but the moments that often matter most are the simple ones we share with the people we love. In this video, I’m taking you with us to my son’s 2-day baseball tournament in Poway. We’ll cheer him on, enjoy some picnic-style meals together, and talk about being more intentional with the time we have. It doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive.

Chicken & Pork Kebabs (Makes 8 skewers)
Marinade:
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp coconut aminos
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried rosemary (or 1 tbsp fresh, chopped)
Meat & Vegetables:
1 lb (450 g) chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 lb (450 g) pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 medium bell peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 large onion, cut into 1-inch chunks
1 medium cucumber, cut into thick rounds (about ½-inch)
2 medium tomatoes, cut into quarters or cherry tomatoes (you do not need to cut these)

Low-Carb, Low-Calorie Strawberry Popsicles (Makes 6 popsicles)
2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled
½ cup unsweetened almond milk
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
2–3 tbsp monk fruit sweetener (adjust to taste)
2 tbsp heavy cream (optional for creamier texture)

Black Bean Brownies (Makes 9 squares)
1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
3 large eggs
3 tbsp cocoa powder
⅓ cup melted coconut oil
½ cup monk fruit sweetener
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt

Herb Brown Rice (Serves 4)
2 cups cooked brown rice (about 1 cup uncooked)
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried minced onion
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp dried dill w**d
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt (or to taste)
Mint Lemonade (Makes 4 servings)
4 cups cold water
½ cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)

Just like the seasons change, so do the chapters of our lives. Some seasons feel warm and full of growth, while others feel quiet, slow, or even challenging. Each season has its own purpose, shaping us, teaching us, and preparing us for what is ahead.

If you find yourself in a gloomy season, instead of focusing on the darkness, look for the small rays of light. Notice the moments of gratitude, the lessons you are learning, and the strength you are building. Even the coldest winter prepares the ground for spring.

If you find yourself in a bright season, thank God, be grateful, and be a blessing to others. Use your season of abundance to encourage, help, and inspire someone who may be going through their own winter.

Your current season will not last forever. Trust the process, lean on God’s timing, and remember that beauty can grow even here.💛

🍝 Honey Soy Mushroom Pasta:
Pasta of your choice
1 tbsp salt (added in the water to cook the pasta)
1 tbsp oil
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
Chili flakes to taste
Roasted sesame seeds for topping

🍗 Creamy Chicken Strips:
2 large chicken breasts (sliced into 2-inch wide strips)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ cup all-purpose flour (for coating)
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tomato, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves
1/2 cup heavy cream
Splash of water or chicken broth
Chili flakes (optional)

🍌 Banana Yogurt Bread:
2 overripe bananas
2 eggs
1/2 cup yogurt
1/4 cup monk fruit sweetener or sugar of your choice

Time truly flies, and sometimes we get so caught up in the hustle and cares of life that we forget to breathe. But this is not how God wants you to live. He does not want you to carry constant anxiety or feel overwhelmed every day. His desire is for you to experience peace and joy in the blessings He has lovingly placed around you.

Take a moment to pause. Feel the warmth of the sun, breathe in the refreshing sea breeze, and notice the beauty of nature all around you. These are gentle reminders of God’s love and presence.

You are not meant to just survive each day. You are meant to live it fully!

I used to live life like a checklist, rushing from one task to the next, always chasing productivity. But one day, I realized I was missing the beauty of the present. I was overwhelmed, anxious, and disconnected from what truly mattered.

Now, I’m choosing to slow down.

To live intentionally. To find peace in the little things, cooking from scratch, tending to plants, making home feel like home.

Even in the city, I’m bringing in the warmth of country living, one quiet, meaningful step at a time.

I’m also learning to care for my body, naturally and holistically after years of ignoring what it needed.

This is the life I’ve been longing for.
