Friends. Join me for the SD exclusive engagement of Errol Morris’ new Border Doc “Separated”, Oct 25-31 only at our Digital Gym Cinema. Oscar-winning filmmaker and documentary legend, Errol Morris (THIN BLUE LINE), confronts one of the darkest chapters in recent American history: family separations. Based on NBC Political and National Correspondent Jacob Soboroff’s book, Morris merges explosive interviews with whistleblowing officials and artful narrative vignettes tracing one migrant family’s plight. Together, they reveal that the cruelty at the heart of this policy was its very purpose. Against this backdrop— with hundreds of families still separated years later— audiences can begin to grasp the US government’s role in this unthinkable horror and be warned that we are on the verge of allowing it to happen again. Only $5 to park in our same building UC San Diego Park & Market. Tickets - https://digitalgym.org/movies/separated/

Opening this weekend at our movie theater. Not to be missed. Lily Gladstone’s latest film!

🪶 From Apple Films, Erica Tremblay’s FANCY DANCE, starring Oscar-nominated, SAG and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Lily Gladstone, opens this Friday, June 28 at DGC.

“Tremblay’s film deserves to be appreciated as more than a mere addendum to a bigger movie [KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON]. On its own terms, the film is an exquisite star vehicle for one of Hollywood’s best rising actresses and an engaging thriller.” —Christian Zilko, IndieWire
