Speak City Heights Speak City Heights is a collaboration of KPBS, Voice of San Diego, The AjA Project and Media Arts Ce Our community partner is Mid-City CAN.

Through reporting and multimedia projects from our partners, the collaborative will help residents and policymakers frame a discussion about what constitutes a healthy community, its barriers and how they’ll overcome them in City Heights. Speak City Heights is an independent, non-profit media project supported with initial funding from the California Endowment. We are a fiscally-sponsored project of Media Arts Center San Diego, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.

Wow! It's already the final day of our 33rd San Diego Latino Film Festival. But, fear not, we have guest celebrities, live music & 45+ movies to choose from today alone! We're just over a week away from our 33rd San Diego Latino Film Festival (March 18-22) and the exciting announcements just keep on coming in! We're incredibly honored to pay tribute to legendary Chicano filmmaker and playwright, Luis Valdez at this year's edition. Mr. Valdez will be in attendance for the 7pm, Sat, March 21st screening of AMERICAN PACHUCO: The Legend of Luis Valdez at AMC Mission Valley. Tribute also includes special screenings of our honoree's now classic films and . Both these screenings will also take place at AMC Mission Valley.
